Description
The “II Advanced Course on Embolization in Veterinary Medicine” offers intensive, hands-on training focused on the main interventional radiology techniques applied in the veterinary field. The program combines specialized theoretical sessions with extensive practical modules in the operating room, allowing participants to develop advanced skills in endovascular procedures.
Over the two-day course, participants work directly with techniques such as the Seldinger Technique, selective angiography, prostatic artery embolization (PAE), and prostatic chemoembolization (PACE) applied to tumor treatment. The course also provides in-depth coverage of transarterial embolization (TAE) and transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for the management of hepatic pathologies, as well as embolization for epistaxis.
The program includes an introductory lecture on the basic embolization techniques in clinical practice and various practical sessions dedicated to identifying technical embolization endpoints, providing a comprehensive overview of the process from planning to procedure execution.
Designed for professionals seeking to refine their expertise in veterinary embolization, this course stands out for its applied approach and advanced training in different interventional scenarios.
