Each student has been trained individually to engage in research, both from a personal perspective and as a key contributor within a preclinical research environment, as a potential service to a company, or within a university setting. <\/p><p>Specific Objectives Achieved:<\/p><ul><li>Understand the basic principles of the surgical environment in CEyCMI: ergonomics, instruments, and equipment; surgical techniques and protocols.  <\/li><li>Understand endoscopic and laparoscopic anatomy, the main indications for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), the most frequent pathologies, their management, and the associated anesthetic procedures.<\/li><li>Master supportive medical treatment for pathologies amenable to endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery. Also, understands the techniques for obtaining and handling all types of endoscopic samples, including the preparation of corresponding reports. <\/li><li>Understand how to develop action protocols based on interactive discussion of clinical cases.
